Ever want to feel how it’s like to dine in a 70s theme restaurant? Look no further than Wondermama, located at a prime location opposite Chawan at the famed Telawi street.
Shoppers will be spoilt for choice as there’s a lot of good eateries here, and everytime we were at Bangsar Village, this retro looking place is always packed to the max but we are fortunate this fine Sunday as we were there early. Kayden and Kendric playing with the spoons.
We opted to seat at the open space, since the place is almost full by the time we wanted to eat. Kayden here pestering May for his cereal that’s meant for his brother. Wondermama menu could be consider a fusion between East and West, with a mix of local delicacies.
We ordered a Wonder Kid Set (RM11.90) for Kayden, Spaghetti with Fried Egg, Hot Dog and Chicken Cube, how often do you mix that up?
Chicken Katsu Burger (RM14.80), served on a chopping board which is quite fun. Came along with a cup of salad on a tin cup, and nachos with fruit salad.
Super Fried Chicken & Cheese Sandwich (RM14.50), a fusion of Ciabatta bread with a very delicious piece of fried chicken, topped with cheese, kimchi, tomato and egg.
Both the sandwich and burger were great and the portion is just nice for a lovely Sunday Brunch, I wished I’ve skipped that morning’s breakfast so that I can sample the Nasi Lemak 2.0 that’s available there. Wouldn’t mind dropping by again since there’s a lot in the menu one can sample.
